4. What information do we collect about you, why do we collect it and what do we do with it?

When you browse our website, we use cookies and code to gather and record data of users visiting our site (such as your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you viewed and when you viewed them). We also use cookies and code when you provide us with details on the product you wish to purchase, such as when you add an item to your basket.

When you make a purchase via our website, we collect your personal information in order for us to perform our contract and send you your purchases, such as:

  • your name;
  • your address;
  • your email address; and
  • your mobile phone number.

We also keep a record of your purchases which contains the above information.

If you get in touch with us, we will keep a record of your email address and message for as long as we need to to ensure we have resolved whatever reason you have messaged us. We may also collect, record and retain certain data regarding your activities on our social media. For example, we may record any social media posts which you tag us in or post on our social media pages.

How may we use your information?

We collect your information for a number of different purposes including:

  • to ensure that our site’s content is presented as effectively as possible for you;
  • to update you on with our latest products, news and special offers (marketing) - if you are an existing customer or have provided us with your email address and elected to receive marketing communications from us, we will occasionally update you on our latest products, news and special offers via e-mail, post, telephone. Please get in touch here if you do not want us to do this;
  • to send services communications about things like service availability, security, and other issues relating to our website. You may/will receive service messages even if have unsubscribed from our mailing list because they usually contain important information about your account, security or our services which we need to make you aware of. You cannot opt out of service messages for this reason.
How to opt-out of marketing communications
You can opt-out of receiving marketing communications from us at any time. This can be done by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link in any email communications which we might send you, or by messaging us here. Once you do this, we will ensure that you don’t receive further marketing emails. Please note that this might take a few days for all our systems to have updated with that fact, and that you might receive a small number of emails from us while we process your request.

7. How do we protect your information?

In order to protect your information, we only share it where absolutely necessary. We do not collect any personal information we do not need and work with industry recognised third party payment providers, Stripe, Worldpay and PayPal, to ensure that your bank details are safe. Where possible on our website, we use secure connections to ensure your safety and security and benefit from the security of our webpage hosting platform.
